Project Overview
We were instructed by a property maintenance and management company to provide safe access scaffolding for a complete refurbishment project in the centre of Warminster. The building required full external access for gutting, window replacements and localised roof repairs. With multiple trades working on different elevations at the same time, the scaffold had to be adaptable, secure and carefully planned to keep the project running smoothly in a busy town-centre environment.
Scope of Works
We erected a full-access scaffold system to all relevant elevations, enabling clear working platforms for stripping out, window removal and installation, and roofing repairs. Ladder access points, platform extensions and protective measures were incorporated to give each contractor safe working areas without obstructing pedestrian flow. The structure was designed to remain in place throughout the refurbishment programme, with inspections and adaptations scheduled as required.
Challenges and Solutions
- Town Centre Location: We planned deliveries and erection around pedestrian and traffic flow, using controlled unloading and protective barriers to maintain public safety.
