2.0 White’s Scaffolding Ltd Quality Assurance Policy

The company’s quality assurance policy is designed to mirror the outcomes expected from internationally recognised quality systems such as ISO 9001:2008 and equivalent frameworks.

2.1 Customer Focus

White’s Scaffolding Ltd works in close partnership with clients and their professional representatives to deliver projects on time, on budget and to the expected quality standards.

A Supervisor is allocated to every project to ensure services are delivered in accordance with the Schedule of Works, issued drawings and project programme. The Supervisor acts as the main point of liaison for changes to specification or timelines, escalating matters to Director level where required. The Supervisor is also responsible for collecting and recording project feedback within the quality management system.

2.2 Leadership

White’s Scaffolding Ltd communicates its vision and values clearly to all staff, clients and stakeholders. Staff are briefed on the company’s values during induction and through regular ongoing training.

Management ensures that sufficient resources—including technology, health & safety guidance and professional development opportunities—are provided for every project. Each project is supervised by a competent individual to ensure resources are appropriate and responsibilities are clearly assigned.

A competent person will check and approve the installation of all construction products and systems.

2.3 Staff Involvement

White’s Scaffolding Ltd maintains systems to ensure accountability and responsibility among staff at all stages of a job. Records are maintained within project files to document each phase of work.

Continuous feedback is encouraged throughout every project, supporting fair assessment of performance and enabling issues to be escalated promptly. Monthly meetings allow the sharing of knowledge and best practice, strengthening ongoing project management standards.

2.4 Process Management

White’s Scaffolding Ltd manages all operational processes to ensure efficient use of resources and the maintenance of accurate documentation. This includes contract reports, timesheets, project drawings, specifications and schedules.

Clear processes—from supplier selection to construction standards—allow the company to minimise risk and maximise team performance. Regular review of completed projects ensures outcomes continue to meet client needs and objectives.

2.5 System Approach

All quality systems are managed in accordance with the document record-keeping process outlined in section 3.0. This ensures consistency and compliance across all projects.

Feedback gathered from clients, project briefings, schedules of works, drawings, programmes and post-project evaluations is used to assess and improve processes. Where opportunities for improvement are identified, they are incorporated into the ongoing quality management system.
