Trusted Scaffolding Across the South
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all scaffolding services provided by White’s Scaffolding Ltd (“the Company”, “we”, “us”) to any client (“you”, “the Customer”). By accepting a quotation, placing an order, or allowing work to commence, you agree to these Terms.
Company – White’s Scaffolding Ltd.
Customer – The person, business, or organisation purchasing services.
Services – The supply, erection, alteration, inspection, hire, and dismantling of scaffolding and access equipment.
Site – The location at which the Services are to be carried out.
Contract – The agreement between the Company and the Customer for the Services.
2.1 All quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
2.2 Prices are based on the information provided by the Customer. Additional costs may apply if:

3.1 The Services will be detailed in the written quotation or contract agreement.
3.2 Any additional work requested after commencement will be charged separately.
3.3 Scaffolding design drawings and calculations (if required) will only be provided if included in the quotation.
4.1 The Customer must ensure:
4.2 The Company reserves the right to delay works if Site conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.
4.3 The Customer is responsible for notifying relevant neighbours, tenants, or third parties that scaffolding is being erected.
4.4 Where scaffolding occupies a public highway or pavement, the Customer must secure all necessary permits and licences unless otherwise agreed.
5.1 The hire period begins on the date the scaffolding is erected.
5.2 The Customer will be charged for all weeks or part weeks until the scaffold is dismantled.
5.3 Minimum hire periods may apply.
5.4 Extensions to the hire period must be requested in writing.
6.1 Only authorised Company personnel may alter, move, or adapt scaffolding.
6.2 The Customer must ensure:
6.3 Damage caused by misuse, impact, vandalism, fire, or negligence will be chargeable to the Customer.
6.4 The Customer is responsible for maintaining Site security.
7.1 The Company is not liable for delays caused by:
7.2 Additional visits required due to delays not caused by the Company may be chargeable.
8.1 Scaffolding will be erected to comply with:

8.3 The Company may refuse to erect scaffolding where safety standards cannot be met.
9.1 The Company holds full public liability and employer’s liability insurance.

10.1 Payment terms will be stated on the invoice or quotation.
10.2 Late payments may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act.

11.2 Charges may apply if materials have been allocated or labour scheduled.
11.3 If works are cancelled on the day of erection, full labour costs may be charged.
We may terminate the Contract immediately if:
All scaffolding equipment remains the property of White’s Scaffolding Ltd at all times.
The Company will handle personal data in accordance with GDPR and data protection law. Information will only be used for contractual and safety purposes.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in UK courts.
